Remove lock washers (3) from selector lever console. Press
ignition key release contact switch (4) from selector lever
housing.
Unclip wiring harness plug from selector lever housing and
disconnect. Unlock spring contact (1 – Pin 1 in plug X31)
with MKM-923-22 (2) and pull cable with spring contact from wiring
harness plug.
Disconnect corresponding ground cable (arrow) from ground
distribution. Remove ignition key release contact switch with
wiring harness.
Install
Insert ignition key release contact switch with wiring harness.
Insert spring contact in corresponding position in wiring harness
plug. Connect wiring harness plug and clip onto selector lever
housing.
Press ignition key release contact switch in selector lever
console – note installation position. Secure ignition key
release contact switch with new lock washers. Connect ground cable
to ground distribution.
