If TECH 1 displays WARNING, the washer fluid level is too low or there is a fault in the circuit at present. The malfunction is recognised directly when ignition ON; in operation, a period of 30 s elapses before fault storage.

If TECH 1 displays WARNING, it can be confirmed with the "R" key in the wash/wipe lever. TECH 1 then displays WARNING QUIT.

The fault is still present.

If TECH 1 displays HISTORY WARNING, the washer fluid level was too low or there was a fault in the circuit at a previous point in time. At present however, the washer fluid level circuit is okay (loose contact). Once the fault is eliminated, HISTORY WARNING can be deleted in the TECH 1  mode F4:CLEAR CODES.
