Luggage Compartment Lid Wiring Harness, Remove and
Install or Replace (Saloon)

 Remove
Release cover with lamp socket and remove, remove cover from
lamp socket, release wiring harness plug and disconnect.

|
|
Unscrew luggage compartment light switch (1) and disconnect
wiring harness plug. Remove central door locking motor, 2 screws
(2), release linkage and remove from lock. Release 2 wiring harness
plugs (3) – if present – and disconnect.

Remove
Unclip retaining clips (arrows). Release wiring harness plug (1)
from body wiring harness and disconnect, remove wiring harness from
luggage compartment lid.

|
Install
Draw wiring harness into luggage compartment lid and fasten.
Connect wiring harness to body wiring harness plug. Connect wiring
harness plug to central locking motor, install central locking
motor, attach linkage. Wiring harness plug to luggage compartment
lamp switch, install luggage compartment lamp switch. Wiring
harness plug to lamp carrier, lamp carrier in cover, cover with
lamp carrier to rear lamp.
