Diagnosis with TECH 1
The electronic cruise control is equipped with self - diagnosis which allows precise diagnosis with TECH 1. The system provides facilities for trouble code readout and actuator tests, and allows the comparison of all actual values from the data list parameters with the nominal values specified in the "System Checking with TECH 1; Opel / Vauxhall Omega - B 1994 ECU" Checking Procedures.
Important:
If the cruise control cannot be activated, although no trouble codes are set, the "FO: DATA LIST" must be checked for the interruption conditions. If the interruption condition concerns a control unit signal input, trouble - shooting must commenced in the relevant circuit. If a malfunctioning speed signal is the cause of the fault, the data list parameters will not be up - dated.
