Safety Measures

·   For operations where there is a risk of an electric short-circuit, disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

·   During function checks, do not reach into mechanical moving parts; risk of injury.

·   When programming control unit K103, neither the driver's seat nor any other seat in the vehicle may be occupied.

·   Before removing a front seat, insert the securing fork up to stop into energy store of seat belt tensioner. If the securing fork cannot be inserted, intentionally trigger tensioner by striking front of energy store with hammer (see Service Instructions, Omega-B, group C). Inspection: yellow trigger indicator on belt buckle.
