Connect TECH 1 to vehicle
Before connecting the unit, observe the information in the TECH 1 Operating Instructions.
· Ignition OFF · Connect TECH 1 to diagnostic connection in passenger compartment (fuse box)
The display shows in the relevant language:
OPEL/VAUXHALL OMEGA-B 1994 ECU confirm with "YES"
SELECT then confirm with "YES"
Reject the subsequent displays with "NO" until the following display appears:
SELECT ELECTRONIC BODY SYSTEM? confirm this question with "YES
Use the arrow keys to select SEAT MEMORY and confirm with "YES" or "ENTER".
Control unit K103 sends data to TECH 1. Compare the part numbers with the Checking Procedures (table 3), confirm with "YES" key.
If one or more faults are stored in the control unit, they are shown on the TECH 1 display. Note trouble codes. Confirm with "YES" until following menu appears:
SELECT MODE F0:DATA LIST F1:NOT USED F2:TROUBLE CODE press key "F0"
Compare all data shown in the display from test step no. 01 to 33 with the nominal values below in section 5.6.1 F0:DATA LIST. Actuate "EXIT" key and if necessary select F5:ACTUATOR TEST, or F7:PROGRAMMING.
If there are deviations from the nominal values in F0:DATA LIST, start trouble-shooting.
Note:
TECH 1 shows the adjustment range for the potentiometers in the driver's seat and the mirror motors as percentages and voltages. The lower and upper measurements may deviate from the nominal values in the following lists due to component tolerances. The adjustment range between the lower and upper values should be at least 60%, however.
