Trailer Hitch, Remove And Install (Caravan)
 Remove, Disconnect

Remove end silencer |
|
Unbolt socket, unbolt heat shield (4 nuts). |
|
Loosen right tension strap of tank. |

Remove, Disconnect
|
2 mechanics required. |
|
Unbolt fastening nuts of trailer hitch. |

2 nuts (1) |

Left |
4 nuts (2) |

Remove trailer hitch. Unbolt upper reinforcement plates (3) (arrows).
 Important! Reinforcement plates may remain adhered to body side member. In this case, remove reinforcement plates. |

 Install, Connect Fasten upper reinforcement plates with 1 self-tapping screw each. Apply trailer hitch and fasten with new self-locking nuts - 46 Nm / 34 lbf. ft. - 2 mechanics required. A screw on the right side serves as a fastening for the fuel tank tension strap at the same time. |

Attach socket, bolt on heat shield, install muffler. |
