Body Rear Quarter Panel, Replace - Model F 35 Aftersales supplies lower and upper rear quarter panels as economy parts. Separation in area X.
 Remove, Disconnect Attaching parts. Detach rear quarter panel. Note size of new part. Separation points (2) for additional operation C-pillar - Outer, Lower, Replace. Notice: New parts (lower rear quarter panel) are supplied with outer lower C-pillar.

 Install, Connect Prepare rear quarter panel. Allow flange to overlap, 10 mm/ 0.4 in. wide. Apply spot weld paint. Apply weldable adhesive in area of shaded surfaces 1, 2, 3 and 4 - see operation "Body Repair using Adhesion and Welding". Notice: The routing of the adhesive bead illustrated made during production must be carried out during servicing in the same manner before installation. Use corrosion protection adhesive sealing system. |

Install, Connect Weld in rear quarter panel. Weld in outer C-pillar and/ or upper rear quarter panel, if necessary.
 Important! The reduced number of weld points shown in the area to be cemented, for cemented rear quarter panels, applies to Production and Service.
Install, Connect Seal body seams, seal cavities. Apply underseal. Attaching parts. Notice: Replacement of outer lower C-pillar and upper rear quarter panel are additional to "Lower Rear Quarter Panel". |
