Paint Stripes for Door Window Frames - Front/ Rear, Replace     Remove, Disconnect      •  Detach sash window seal.   •  Rear door: Lever off corner insert for outer window frame (III).   •  Detach window channel seal.   •  Remove retaining clips for window channel seal.   •  Heat damaged paint stripes with hot air drier and remove (I).       Clean    Clean adhesive surfaces (silicone remover) and rectify paint damage (touch-up pencil).

 

Install, Connect      •  Detach protective paper (adhesive face) and moisten adhesive face of paint stripe with water (3 drops of detergent to 1 litre of tap water).   •  Position paint stripes.   •  Fit paint stripes with spatula (eliminate creasing and air bubbles) and fold over at the flange edges (II).   •  Detach protective paper (transportation protection).   •  Rear door: Mount corner edges for outer window frame.   •  Mount retaining clip for window channel seal.   •  Mount seal.     Notice:  Only process paint stripes at temperatures exceeding 18 ° C.   Dry paint stripes with hot air drier (maximum 60 ° C) for approx. 2 minutes to ensure optimal adhesion. Puncture any bubbles with needle and smooth away with spatula.
