Condition:
Replace damaged or torn welding pins in the body rear quarter
panel and bonnet.
Remedy:
The Aftersales department supplies the relevant stepped rivet
pin in the delivery range.

Survey of Welding Pins
I Fastening of seal, bonnet / door mirror
(Vectra - B)
II Fastening of protective trim strip, rear quarter panel
(Omega - B Estate)

Welding Pins, Bonnet, Replace (Vectra - B)
Remove bonnet. Remove attaching parts.
Remove damaged welding pins and sand contact surfaces with
angled or straight grinder.
Fix template (1) to edges "A" of bonnet,
centre - punch (2) and drill holes as
necessary(0 2.5 mm / 0.10 in.) (3). Rivet stepped
rivet pin with riveting pliers (4).
Install attaching parts.
Important:
Protect bare metal against corrosion.

Use template on page 6 at scale of 1: 1.

B Estate)
Remove rear quarter panel protective trim strip.
Remove damaged welding pins and sand contact surface with
angled or straight grinder.
Drill fastening hole (2.5 mm / 0.10 in.) as
specified by dimensions on drilling chart.
Important:
Protect bare metal against corrosion. Rivet stepped rivet
pin with riveting pliers.
