Retaining Plate (Adhered) for Inside Rear View Mirror, Cement  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Detach retaining plate from inner rear view mirror. Press clamp (1) upward.   Detached retaining plate can be re-used. Sand down adhesive surface well (grain P 100). Clean adhesive surfaces. Mark off adhesive surface of detached retaining plate on glass using masking tape.   Retaining plate position:   (2) 15 mm from edge of moulded headlining   (3) windscreen centre

  Install, Connect   

Press adhesive out of dosing cartridge and mix.   Notice:  Join retaining plate and glass with adhesive within 5 minutes after mixing. Adhesive is ready for installation after 80 minutes at room temperature; heating up to max. 80 ° C/ 176 ° F shortens the hardening time. Apply adhesive (0.5 to 1.0 mm thick) over the entire adhesive surface. Press on retaining plate and fix with adhesive tape. The rear view mirror must not be installed until adhesive is fully hardened.     Install, Connect    Inside rear view mirror.
