General Information  

Wiring harnesses and wiring troughs, which have to be released or removed during repair work, must be refastened in their corresponding original positions using genuine Aftersales parts (cable straps, clips, wiring trough brackets, etc.).  

Before disconnecting the vehicle battery on Vauxhall vehicles, disarm the power sounder: Disconnect the vehicle battery within 15 seconds after switching off the ignition.

Following completion of front-door operations, ensure that the water vapour barrier is not damaged and is adhered continuously along the edges. Undamaged and properly adhered water vapour barriers are important for the optimal function of the side-airbag sensors.  

Replacement sealing film is available from the Aftersales department as rolls (1400 mm x 50 m) under Part Nos. 90 510 299 / 22 37 971. Use adhesive tape 90 241 170 / 22 37 980 to tape the sealing film.
