Trim Strips, Lettering, Fittings, Hinges  

Protective Trim Strips, Replace (Models F35, F19, F68)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Protective trim strips (Example: Model F19).   Lever out side turn signal lamp (1), disconnect plug connection. Heat with hot air drier (max. 80 ° C). Remove protective trim strip uniformly to avoid denting outer door panel. Remove residual adhesive (washing benzene, silicone remover).     Install, Connect    Pull off protective strips from adhesive area. Insert positioning clips of protective trim strip (2) in bore holes in front/rear door. Press in protective trim strip. Plug connection, side turn signal lamp.     Important!    Surface must be dry and free from dust and grease. Heat protective trim strips in the area of adhesive tapes. Final drying e.g. in winter using heat radiator max. 60 ° C/ 140 ° F, safety distance approx. 40 cm/ 15.7 in. to the object.
