Seat Heating  

Heater Mat - Front Seat, Replace  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove front seat - see operation "Front Seat, Remove and Install" in group "C". Pull forward wiring harness for front seat backrest heater mat (2) under front seat backrest upholstery. Disconnect wiring harness plug for front seat backrest heater mat (1). Remove front seat backrest and seat upholstery - see operations "Front Seat Backrest, Remove and Install" and "Front Seat Upholstery, Remove and Install" in group "C". Unclip wiring harness plug for front seat heater mat (4) from front seat wiring harness plug (3). Detach front seat heater mat from seat cushion, at the same time pull wiring harness (5) through seat cushion.

  Install, Connect   

Pull off backing strips for adhesive strips from heater mat. Adhere heater mat to seat cushion in position of old mat, guiding wiring harness (5) through seat cushion. Engage wiring harness plug for front seat heater mat (4) in front seat wiring harness plug (3). Install seat upholstery. Install front seat backrest. Connect wiring harness plug for front seat backrest heater mat (1). Route wiring harness for front seat backrest heater mat (2) under front seat backrest upholstery. Install front seat.
