Crossmember, Remove and Install
 Remove, Disconnect Remove multi-link rear axle - see operation "Multi-link Rear Axle, Remove and Install". Disconnect stabiliser (2) from crossmember (1). Release right and left fastening nuts (arrows) and remove - remove fastening bolts. Pull upper and lower control arm out of crossmember. Remove crossmember. |

 Install, Connect Attach upper and lower control arm to crossmember with new bolts and nuts - moderately tighten bolted connection.
 Important! The screw connections for control arm to crossmember are tightened when the vehicle is loaded.
Install, Connect Attach stabiliser to crossmember. Install multi-link rear axle - see operation "Multi-link Rear Axle, Remove and Install".
 Torque - Angle Method Control arm to crossmember - 90 Nm / 66 lbf. ft. + 60 ° + 15 ° . Stabiliser to crossmember - 55 Nm / 41 lbf. ft.
