Temperature Switch - Fan Motors, Remove and Install  

Notice: 

The operation is described for a vehicle with air conditioning, for vehicles without air conditioning proceed analogously.  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove upper coolant hose (1) from radiator and thermostat housing - collect escaping coolant.   Remove refrigerant line bracket (3) from radiator and refrigerant lines.   Remove radiator retaining bracket on right (4) and left from the air deflector panel.   Detach wiring harness plug (5) from the fan motor temperature switch and auxiliary fan motor temperature switch.   Remove both temperature switches (2) from radiator.

  Install, Connect   

Install both temperature switches in radiator and connect wiring harness plug.  

Attach left and right radiator retaining bracket to the air deflector panel.  

Attach refrigerant line bracket to radiator and refrigerant lines.  

Attach upper coolant hose to thermostat housing and radiator.
