Information on octane specifications  

The octane numbers printed in boldface in the following tables provide the manufacturer's recommended fuel type for the corresponding engine.  

Explanations of abbreviations and footnotes:  

1)  

In the event that super unleaded fuel is unavailable, it is permissible to use standard unleaded fuel (RON 91), provided that there is no heavy engine load or full-load operation such as mountain driving with trailer load or heavy payload.  

2)  

Operation with standard fuel (RON 91) results in minimal power and speed loss.  

3)  

In the event that no super unleaded fuel is available, the use of standard unleaded fuel (RON 91) is permissible. Use coding plug available in "Parts and Accessories". Refer to table below for illustration purposes.
