Engine Number  

The engine number is stamped on the flat surface (arrow) of the cylinder block beneath the oil filter housing.  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

When installing an engine short block, the engine number must be stamped on the cylinder block before the engine is installed.
