Injectors, Remove and Install  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove intake plenum - see operation "Intake Plenum, Remove and Install".  

Detach wiring harness (1) from injectors. Remove cable trough (2) from fuel distributor pipe and set aside.  

Remove fastening bolts (3) and carefully remove fuel distributor pipe (4) together with injectors from intake bridge.

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Detach spring clip (1) for relevant injector and remove injector from fuel distributor pipe.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Coat new seal rings for injection valves lightly with clean engine oil and attach to fuel distributor pipe with fastening clamp (1) - ensure correct seating.  

Carefully press fuel distributor pipe together with injectors into intake bridge - ensure that injectors are correctly seated in intake bridge.  

Fasten fuel distributor pipe to intake bridge - 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.  

Clip wiring trough to fuel distributor pipe and connect insert wiring harness plug to injectors.  

Install intake plenum - see operation "Intake Plenum, Remove and Install".
