Fuel Pressure, Check (X 16 XEL, Y 16 XE, Z 16 XE)  

Notice: 

Illustration F 3904 shows the check for X 16 XEL with secondary air system. The check on X 16 XEL without secondary air system, Y 16 XE and Z 16 XE must be performed analogously.  

Object Number: 616201 Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

Fuel escapes. Observe safety regulations and national legislation.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Connect Fuel Pressure Gauge KM-J-34730-91 (1) to test connection. Start engine and bleed fuel pressure gauge - idle speed. Collect escaping fuel in a suitable container.  

Object Number: 616196 Size: DEFAULT  Inspect   

For X 16 XEL with secondary air system and X 16 XEL without secondary air system: Disconnect vacuum hose (2) from fuel pressure regulator and seal off.  

Nominal value - see relevant Checking Procedures.  

Remove Fuel Pressure Gauge KM-J-34730-91 from test connection.
