Flywheel > < Piston with Con-rod, Remove and Install reinstallation

 

Piston, Replace  

Notice: 

Pushing out of the piston pin is not permitted. If the piston, the piston pin or the con-rod defective, all above-mentioned parts must be replaced.  

Object Number: 616191  Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove piston with con-rod (1) - see operation "Piston with Con-rod, Remove and Install".  

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Coat con-rod eye and upper part of the con-rod shaft with thermocolour pencil. The green colouring turns black when the required assembly temperature is reached. The coloured mark (arrow) is not permitted to discolour over the entire length, but only up to the start of the con-rod shaft. Heat new con-rod at upper con-rod eye with heater plate. Assembly temperature: 280 ° C / 536 ° F to max. 320 ° C / 608 ° F.

Object Number: 616201  Size: DEFAULT  Important!   

Installation position: beads (arrows) at con-rod point to flattening (arrow) of the piston pin eye.  

Notice: 

Firmly seated piston pin cannot be pressed further. Perform assembly quickly.  

Object Number: 616194  Size: DEFAULT  Assemble   

Con-rod (1), piston pin, piston (2). Use Assembly KM-634. Place new piston pin on handle and fasten with screw piece. Insert new piston pin up to stop in piston. Remove handle and screw piece.  

Object Number: 616192  Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Install piston with con-rod - see operation "Piston with Con-rod, Remove and Install".
