Seal Ring - Rear Camshaft Housing, Replace (16 LZ2) > < Camshaft, Remove and Install (Cylinder Head Removed)

Cylinder Head  

Seal Ring - Rear Camshaft Housing, Replace (X 16 SZR)  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove DIS ignition module - see operation "DIS Ignition Module, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR)".  

Remove carrier plate (1) from camshaft housing.  

Object Number: 616195 Size: DEFAULT  Clean   

Remove gasket remnants and clean sealing surfaces.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Attach new seal ring (2) to carrier plate.  

Attach carrier plate to camshaft housing - tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.  

Install DIS ignition module - see operation "DIS Ignition Module, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR)".
