Coolant Pump, Remove and Install
 Remove, Disconnect For X 16 SZR: remove rear toothed belt cover - see operation "Rear Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR)". For 16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ: remove toothed belt tension roller - see operation "Toothed Belt Tension Roller, Remove and Install (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)". Remove coolant pump (1) from cylinder block.
 Clean Remove gasket remnants and clean sealing surfaces. Notice: Before installing the coolant pump, coat the sealing surface (2) with silicone grease (white). |

 Install, Connect Attach coolant pump to cylinder block with new seal ring - X 16 SZR: 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft., 16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ: 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.
 Important! The lug (2) on the coolant pump must be aligned with the counterpart (1) on the cylinder block.
Install, Connect X 16 SZR: Install rear toothed belt cover - see operation "Rear Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR)". 16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ: Install toothed belt tension roller - see operation "Toothed Belt Tension Roller, Remove and Install (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)".
 Inspect Top up cooling system - see operations "Cooling System, Top up and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks". |
