Knock Sensor, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) of knock sensor and unclip from bracket - place cable out of way.   Remove knock sensor (2) from cylinder block.     Important!    The knock sensor must rest on the whole surface of the cylinder block - ensure utmost cleanliness. Do not use any washers, spring washers or toothed lock washers. Tightening torque must be adhered to, as malfunctions may otherwise occur.     Install, Connect    Attach knock sensor to cylinder block - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.   Connect wiring harness plug of knock sensor and clip into bracket - ensure correct cable routing.
