Tank Vent Valve, Remove and Install  

Notice: 

Upper half of illustration shows X 25 XE, lower half of illustration shows Y 26 SE.  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Detach wiring harness plug (1) and vacuum hoses (2) from tank vent valve (3).     Important!    When detaching the vacuum hoses from the valve body, ensure that the valve connections are not damaged. Damaged tank vent valves must be replaced - they may lead to vehicle fires as a result of leaks.     Install, Connect    Attach tank vent valve to air cleaner housing.   Attach vacuum hoses and wiring harness plug to tank vent valve.
