Main Casing, Replace (AF 13/17)
 Remove, Disconnect Remove transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (AF 13-II/AF 17)". Remove converter - see operation "Converter and/or Fluid Pump Seal Ring, Replace (AF 13-II/AF 17)". Remove fluid pump (4) - see operation "Fluid Pump, Remove and Install" (AF 13/17)". Remove differential transmission (1) - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove parking lock (3) - see operation "Parking Lock, Remove and Install" (AF 13/17)". Remove driven intermediate gear (2) - see operation "Intermediate Gear - Driven, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove fluid strainer (5). Remove thrust bearing assembly (6). Remove fastening clamp (7) for pipe (8) - 1 fastening bolt. Remove Pipe KM-7004, KM-786. |

Remove, Disconnect Remove drive shaft assembly with multi-plate clutch C2 - see operation "Drive Shaft Assembly with Multi-plate Clutch C2, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove brake band B1 - see operation "Brake band B1, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove valve body - see operation "Valve Body, Remove and Install (Transmission Removed) (AF 13/17)". Remove multi-plate clutch C1 assembly - see operation "Multi-plate Clutch C1 Assembly, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove multi-plate clutch assembly C0 and C3 - see operation "Multi-plate Clutch Assembly C0 and C3, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove back ring gear with overrunning clutch F0 assembly - see operation "Back Ring Gear with Overrunning Clutching F0 Assembly, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove front ring gear with overrunning clutch F1 assembly and planetary support - see operation "Front Ring Gear with Overrunning Clutching F1 Assembly and Planetary Support, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove multiple disc brake assembly B2 - see operation "Multiple Disc Brake Assembly B2, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove intermediate drive gear - see operation "Intermediate Drive Gear, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Remove piston brake band B1 - see operation "Piston Brake Band B1, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)".
Remove, Disconnect Remove transmission input speed sensor (1). Remove transmission output speed sensor (2). Remove plugs (8 units). Remove transmission wiring harness (3).
 Install, Connect Install transmission wiring harness - tightening torque 7 Nm / 5 lbf. ft. Install plug (x8) with new seal rings - tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. Install transmission output speed sensor with new seal ring - tightening torque 5 Nm / 4 lbf. ft. Install transmission input speed sensor with new seal ring - tightening torque 5 Nm / 4 lbf. ft. |

Install, Connect Install piston brake band B1 - see operation "Piston Brake Band B1, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Install fluid strainer. Install thrust bearing assembly Install pipe. Install fastening clamp for pipe - tightening torque 5 Nm / 4 lbf. ft. Install (driven) intermediate gear - see operation "Intermediate Gear, Remove and Install (driven) (AF 13/17)". Install multiple disc brake assembly B2 - see operation "Multiple Disc Brake Assembly B2, Remove and install (AF 13/17)". Install front ring gear with overrunning clutch F1 assembly and planetary support - see operation "Front Ring Gear with Overrunning Clutching F1 Assembly and Planetary Support, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Install back ring gear with overrunning clutch F0 assembly - see operation "Back Ring Gear with Overrunning Clutching F0 Assembly, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Install multi-plate clutch assembly C0 and C3 - see operation "Multi-plate Clutch Assembly C0 and C3, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Install multi-plate clutch C1 assembly - see operation "Multi-plate Clutch C1 Assembly, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)".
Install, Connect Install valve body - see operation "Valve body, Remove and Install (Transmission Removed) (AF 13/17)". Install brake band B1 - see operation "Piston Brake Band B1, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Install drive shaft assembly with multi-plate clutch C2 - see operation "Drive Shaft Assembly with Multi-plate Clutch C2, Remove and Install (AF 13/17)". Install parking lock - see operation "Parking lock, Remove and Install" (AF 13/17)". Drive-install intermediate gear - see operation "Intermediate gear, Remove and Install (driven) (AF 13/17)". Install fluid pump - see operation "Fluid pump, Remove and Install" (AF 13/17)". Install converter - see operation "Converter and/or Fluid Pump Seal Ring, Replace (AF 13-II/AF 17)". Install transmission - see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (AF 13-II/AF 17)".
