Steering Gear, Remove and Install
 Important! For vehicles with airbag: turn steering wheel to straight-ahead position and allow steering lock to engage.
 Remove, Disconnect Remove front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E". Unscrew bolts (1) from rear engine damping block and remove engine damping block. Unscrew bolts (2) from retaining brackets and remove steering gear with retaining brackets from front axle body.
 Install, Connect Install steering gear on front axle body - tightening torque 45 Nm / 33 lbf. ft. Install rear engine damping block on front axle body - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft. |

Install, Connect Install front axle body - see operation "Front Axle Body, Remove and Install" in group "E".
 Inspect Check camber, and toe-in, adjust if necessary - see operation "Camber, Caster and Toe-in, Check" in group "E".
