•  Ignition OFF  

•  All doors/trunk/tailgate and engine hood closed  

•  Car key in driver door turned 30 ° to the right  

•  Car key turned back to neutral position and turned 30 ° to the right again  

INACTIVE 12 V  

Deadlock activated  

 

•  Movement in the passenger compartment  

•  Wait at least 10 s  

Diagnostic tester displays alternately:  
ACTIVE and INACTIVE  
ALARM is triggered  
(Turn signal and horn active)  

 

Note:  

In connection with the following country codes, there is a different horn note when the alarm is triggered:  
Country code "NL": horn (constant note) and turn signal  
Country code "CH": horn only (constant note)  
Country code "GB": horn only  

The direction in which the car key is turned refers to a vehicle with left hand drive. On vehicles with right hand drive the car key must be turned in the opposite direction.  

To protect the motors against overheating problems caused by permanent operation, an overload protection is activated. While the overload protection is active, all motor functions are blocked.  

At the end of the test, the anti theft warning system must be disarmed again.
