•  Ignition OFF  

•  All doors/trunk/tailgate and engine hood closed  

•  Car key in driver door turned 30 ° to the left  
Anti-theft warning system/central door locking system disarmed  

•  Press corresponding key in the system main menu to call up Actuator Test functions, select the desired test and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the diagnostic tester display.  

•  After the test is started, the turn signal can be switched on and off using the CURSOR UP key.

Note:  

The test is completed after a maximum of 30 s.  

The direction in which the car key is turned refers to a vehicle with left hand drive. On vehicles with right hand drive the car key must be turned in the opposite direction.  

To protect the motors against overheating problems caused by permanent operation, an overload protection is activated. While the overload protection is active, all motor functions are blocked.
