Central Door Locking System Control Unit The CDLS control unit is located behind the side footwell panelling on the co-driver's side. The radio receiver and the reception antenna are integrated into the CDLS control unit. The CDLS control unit supports all familiar functions:
- Locking/unlocking all doors, luggage compartment lid and the tank flap. - Activating/deactivating the mechanical anti-theft device (ATD) in all doors. - Switch on/off the anti-theft warning system (optional equipment, see section 5.5). - Automatic unlocking of vehicle when anti-theft device is active and ignition is switched on (request to W contact in ignition lock). - Central closing of electronically controlled window winders and electrically actuated sun roof (both optional equipment) - function cannot be performed via radio remote control. - Automatic unlocking of locked vehicle in the event of a collision (vehicle impact recognition, only with ignition ON). - Protection against servo motor overload. - No disturbance to mechanical actuation from radio remote control. - Diagnosis and programming with TECH 1.
