Remote control - Splits in buttons

Complaint:

Brocken or Cracked

Splits in buttons of the remote control.

 

Cause:

Poor surface hardness of the buttons.

 

Production Solution:

As of CW 17 /98 remote controls with harder surfaces of the buttons are introduced in production.

 

Special part:

No

 

Remedy:

In case of complaint replace the button cover.

1.    Remove the key blade with a help of a screwdriver by light torsion (under the approval sticker) from the housing.

2.    Remove the lower cover.

3.    Remove the electronic part by light pressure on the battery holder by pressing on the top of the key.

4.    Replace upper cover and reassemble the remote control.
