Complaint: Wrong Indication Check-control incorrectly reports low coolant level.
Cause: Sensor in coolant reservoir defective.

Production Solution:
Remedy: Perform instructions below.
Operation:
Check the sensor for electrical continuity (= 0 Ohm). Check the plug and cable for continuity.
If the sensor is defective the coolant reservoir with sensor must be replaced (in case of welded in sensor).
Cat /part No. 13 04 209 /(90 499 767).
Coolant reservoirs without welded in sensor: Replace only the sensor.
Cat/part No. 13 04 218/(90 542 964).
