General  

The most important elements of the OPEL / VAUXHALL wiring harness repair system are the introduction of the following new features:  

For repairing cables  

•  Crimping pliers for stripping cables and crimping cable connections.  

 

•  Cable connectors for creating connections between two cables.  

 

•  Shrink-down plastic tubing to insulate and protect connections against corrosion.  

 

For replacement of spring-finger connectors or wiring harness plugs  

•  Detachment tools to detach cables from the wiring harness plug.  

 

•  Wiring harness plugs with lead ends for replacement of individual spring-finger connectors or complete wiring harness plugs.
