As a running change, vehicles may be equipped with Altenloh, Brink & Co. (ABC) wheel lock bolts, instead of Kamax.

Service

ABC lock bolts have unique "pointed splines" and require a splined adapter socket with 1 of 10 possible combinations to remove or install.

The correct adapter socket is included in the vehicle tool kit, located in the spare tire well.

Order replacement adapter sockets for ABC lock bolts using Part No: 8D0 6011 39F, followed by a 3 digit code.

To determine 3 digit code: count the number of splines in the security pattern of lock bolt and reference the chart.

Each adapter socket is shipped with one corresponding wheel lock bolt.

A master set containing all ten adapter socket combinations (# T40004) is scheduled for automatic shipment as a minimum tool requirement within ten
