When display shows Closed Throttle Position

Press -> button.

Select function XX

Press 0 and 6 buttons to select "End output" function 06.

-

Press Q button to enter input.

-

Switch OFF ignition.

-

Check Voltage supply and wiring to Throttle Control Module.

If Voltage supply and wiring OK:

-

Replace Engine Control Module.

Throttle drive G186 and Throttle drive angle sensor G187, checking

Requirements

-

Engine Coolant Temperature must be 85 °C minimum, See Display group 04, Display field 3

Connect VAG 1551/1552 Scan Tool. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing
Diagnostic Trouble Codes/Scan Tool Connecting  

-

Start engine and let idle.

-

Press 0 and 1 buttons to select "Engine Electronics" address word 01.
