Vehicles with ESP

-

For vehicles with ESP, Steering Angle Sensor G85 is installed in housing - 1 - of return spring.

-

Disconnect harness connectors - 1 - and - 2 -.

-

Release catch - arrows - and pull return spring with Steering Angle Sensor G85 from steering column switch.

NOTE:
-

Wheels must be in straight-ahead position when removing or installing return spring with steering angle sensor.

-

A new return ring is secured in the centered position with a transport protection.

Installing

-

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

For vehicles with ESP, also note the following:

-

Install return spring with Steering Angle Sensor G85 and engage. For a new component, remove transport protection.
