LATCH system "Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children" is a combination of rear upper tethers and rear lower anchors used to secure child seat.
Vehicles up to manufacture date 09.00 (09/00) (see label on drivers side B-pillar - arrow -) must be checked for mounting of guides during Pre-Delivery
Inspection (PDI).

As of January 2001, markings on rear backrest indicate mounting point for anchors -arrow -.
NOTE:

Technical Bulletin on LATCH guidance fixtures, no longer apply to vehicles equipped with markings on rear backrest.
