Door Lock Cylinder: Removal and Replacement

Lock Cylinder With Inner Profile Keys, Removing And Installing

Removing

-

Remove door handle.

-

Clamp door handle at ignition key in a vise with protective pads.

-

Push down paddle - 1 - in direction of - arrow -.

-

Pull out locking washer - 2 -.

-

Remove paddle and spring.

-

Remove mount - 1 - and coupling plate - 2 - from lock cylinder housing.

-

Rotate lock cylinder - 1 - about 90 °.

-

Make sure that lock cylinder sleeve - 2 - does not turn with it.
