    Some models are equipped with a dual port brake pressure regulator. Replacement ABS hydraulic modulators are only available with a single port
brake pressure regulator. Therefore a T-bracket must be installed at the front of the brake pressure regulator to accommodate the two brake lines.
     Refer to Fig. 14 during replacement procedures.

1.

Turn the ignition off.

2.

Disconnect the battery negative cable.

3.

Press brake pedal, 25-35 times, to reduce pressure in the accumulator. Serious injury may result if unit is serviced without reducing pressure.

4.

Disconnect ABS unit cable terminals and ground connection.

5.

Using a suction bottle, drain brake fluid from the reservoir.

6.

Disconnect ABS unit brake lines, then plug the bores.

7.

Remove driver side shelf from under the instrument panel.

8.

Remove attaching bolts and safety bolt from pushrod clevis.

9.

Remove lock nuts, then the hydraulic modulator.

10.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque new hydraulic modulator to cross panel nuts to 18 ft. lbs.
b. Torque brake lines to hydraulic modulator to 18 ft. lbs.

11.

Bleed hydraulic brake system.
