Voltage Test

Battery voltage test - engine not running

(for sealed batteries only)  

- turn headlights on high beam for 1 minute to remove surface charge
- disconnect battery ground strap

- check battery voltage using multimeter US 1119

12.4 volts minimum

If above
- load test battery

If below
- charge until 12.4 volts minimum
