ATF filters without the turning lugs can be loosened with a strap wrench.
^ wipe ATF off ATF cooler
^ remove filter bolt (2) and discard
^ install O-ring Part No. 096 409 069A, onto new banjo bolt, Part No. 096 409 067A
^ install new banjo bolt (1), with O-ring (3), in place of ATF filter bolt (arrow)

Banjo bolt, Part No. 096 409 067A and 0-ring, Part No. 096 409 069A, is also available as a Kit, Part No. 096 498 067.
^ tighten bolt (1)
^ Torque 40 N-m (29 Ft.Lb.)
^ wipe off excess ATF from transmission case
^ check ATF level (see below)
ATF level, Checking
Too much or too little ATF will affect the operation of the transmission.
The ATF level in the transmission changes with the temperature of the fluid. The Min. and Max. marks on the dipstick are based on an ATF temperature
of 60°C (140°F).
