VAG 1551 FAULT READ OUT DEVICE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
We are pleased to introduce an exchange program for the VAG 1551 Fault Read Out Device for use after the 12 month warranty period. It also pleases
us to announce that Electronic Designers Incorporated (EDI) has been selected as the Authorized Agent for the VAG 1551 and will administer the
exchange program.
ONLY EXCHANGE FAULT READERS WILL BE SUPPLIED FOR NON-OPERATIONAL UNITS IN THE FUTURE.
EXCHANGE PROGRAM PROCEDURE
If your VAG 1551 should become non-operational after the 12 month warranty period, please telephone Electronic Designers Inc. Toll free
800-288-8962; they will assist in determining if an exchange Fault Reader is needed.
If an exchange Fault Reader is needed:
Electronic Designers Inc. will ship the exchange VAG 1551 via UPS Second Day Air, freight prepaid, no later than the next working day.
As soon as the exchange VAG 1551 arrives, pack the non-operational unit in the same carton the exchange was received in and ship via UPS regular, to:

EXCEPTION
The only exception to the exchange program is;
If the returned Fault Read Out Device is judged unrepairable due to external influences" (tampering, dropping, etc.) the dealer will be notified that the
purchase of a new unit will be necessary at the prevailing dealer price and that the received Fault Read Out Device must be returned for credit.
Exchange Fault Read Out Devices are rebuilt to "fully functional" condition and are covered by a 12 month conditional warranty from day of receipt.
