Condition
Poor engine performance and/or rough idle may be caused by an improperly routed Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve
vacuum hose (EVAP vacuum hose) and/or by an improperly routed Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose.
Improper hose routing may result in a minor vacuum leak.
Production
Vacuum hose routing will be verified during production at factory.
Service
check EVAP vacuum hose for damage and replace if necessary; connect and route hose as specified below
check and install EVAP vacuum hose and PCV hose so that the marks (arrows and tabs) at the hose ends match the marks (arrows and tabs) at the hose
connections on the component.
