Constant Velocity Joint: Service and Repair
Inner Joint

Fig. 4  Exploded View Of Axle Shaft

     Refer to Fig. 4 during replacement procedures.

1.

Remove drive axle, refer to AXLE SHAFT.

2.

Press constant velocity joint off shaft while supporting hub.

3.

Press constant velocity joint on until seated. Chamfer on inside diameter of hub must face contact shoulder on axle shaft.
