Driver Side Left Trim

Removing

‹› For clarity, the steering wheel is not depicted in the illustration, it is not necessary to remove it.

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove side instrument panel cover on front passenger-side. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Side Covers ] See: Dashboard / Instrument
Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Side Covers

Press rotary light switch toward front, rotate it toward right until it stands vertically, now pull it out and disconnect wiring harness.

Remove steering column trim gap cover from instrument panel. Refer to => [ Steering Column Trim ] See: Steering and
Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Steering Column Cover/Service and Repair. It is not necessary to remove the complete steering column
trim.

Remove storage compartment - 1 - from mounts.

-

Remove the two bolts - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Remove the two bolts - 3 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Remove bolt - 4 - (1.5 Nm).

-

Disengage trim panel from instrument panel and disconnect wiring harness from headlamp range control.
