Interrogate fault memory of affected door control module(s) using VAS 5051/5052.

Clear affected door control module related fault entries with Guided Functions.

^

Perform adaptation of door control module using Guided Functions from Brand CD 77 or above.

After the window control module adaptation is complete, perform Window Travel Basic Settings according to procedure below.

Tip:

The mechanical upper stop of the window regulator is the reference for the control unit for the initialization (learning of window position), not the
upward window pressure in the seal.

Check the window adjustment according to the Repair Manual, see Group 64 Glazing/window mechanism, Door Window in ElsaWeb.

Tip:

Ensure adjustments in Y (lateral incline) and Z (height adjustment).

If window does not need adjustment:

Perform Window Travel Basic Settings procedure below.

If window needs adjustment:

Readjust window according to the Repair Manual, see Group 64 Glazing/window mechanism, Door Window in ElsaWeb.

Perform Window Travel Basic Settings procedure below.

Determine the short drop travel and the free play according to the following procedure:

While door is open, lock rotary latch of the door lock. The window will move to its highest position.

Stick a piece of adhesive tape approximately 10 cm (4 in.) above the channel strip (see illustration) on outside of window.
