Power Mirror Motor: Service and Repair

Adjusting Unit With Motor, Removing And Installing 

Removing 

-

Remove mirror housing

-

Remove side mirror.

-

Disconnect connector housing - 2 - from wiring harness - 5 -.

-

Remove bolts - 4 -.

-

Remove adjusting unit with motor - 3 - forward and guide wiring harness - 5 - out of mirror - 1 -.

Installing 

Installation of adjustment unit with motor - 3 - is done in reverse order of removal.

-

Screw torque specification - 2 - : 1.5 Nm.
