Measure and mark a line on the tape 10 cm from the outside window seal as shown

Open the rotary latch on the outer or inner door handle - the window lowers itself a little.

Measure and mark another line on the tape 10 cm from the outside window seal as shown

Measure the distance between the two marks on the adhesive tape - this is the performed short drop.

Apply slight pressure from above on the window edge (see illustration) and draw a mark at a height of 10 cm (4 in.) on the tape (see illustration 4,
highest line).

Distance between line 1 and 2 should be less than 5 mm (approx. 1/4 in.). If the distance is greater then manual retensioning of the cable length
adjuster is necessary.
As necessary, tension the cable length adjuster manually.
