Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair
High-Mounted Brake Lamp
‹› If damaged, the entire High-mount Brake Light (M25 ) must be replaced.
Removing:

Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.
CAUTION!
Do not operate brake pedal!

Remove rear lid trim..

Disengage connector - 2 - and disconnect it.

Remove bolts - arrows B -.
-
Push the catches of the right or left side - arrows A - inward and remove the high-mounted brake light from the rear lid.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
‹› Slide the groove located on High-mount Brake Light into guide in rear lid.
‹› When installing gasket, check for proper fitting.
Tightening specification, brake light to rear lid 2.5 Nm.
