Disengage harness connector -1- by pulling locking button -3- in -direction of arrow-.

Remove connector -1- in -direction of arrow- and remove Battery Interrupt Igniter N253 -2- from vehicle.
Installing:
Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
NOTE: When installing connector on Battery Interrupt Igniter N253, ensure connector retainer engages audibly.

Tighten all threaded connections to specified tightening torque.

Reconnect battery.
